I’m Heidi and I reside is Saskatchewan Canada. I started my blog in 2009, after my son was born, to keep family and friends undated on our lives since we had moved 2 hours away from them (Since then we have moved back to the city). I met my husband in the summer of 2006 and we were married in January 2009 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on the Beach, in our dream wedding! In December 2009 we welcomed to the world our son Daxon.
I have a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Administration and currently work as a Catering Coordinator at a local hotel. When I’m not at work I usually can be found chasing around my two year old (he truly is the cutest little boy ever, all though I may be a little bias being his mother and all), decorating our home (after totally re-renovating our last two homes, I prefer just being able to decorate and not renovate), cooking (I love a good meal shared with friends and family) and scrapbooking.
I believe Google is a girl’s best friend and that all the answers to life’s questions can be found on Google. My family and friends refer to me as creative; I call it being a master copy cat.
All I actually require in to be happy in life is my family and a glass of red wine (sometimes a bottle). So welcome to my little piece of the web!
